![]() ![]() 270 ship features you can buy and upgrade depending on your playstyle (idle or active), ie. ![]() 20 auto weapons (including some funny weapons, ie.1 mouse controlled turret (it can be upgraded to have 6 barrels, and shoot rockets). This is an Idle\Clicker game with the ability to setup configs of auto upgrades, and auto ascension. Enemies are not going shoot, they don't want to harm the hookers you have stolen. It's Transport Defender 2 now.Defend the transport ship from being captured by enemy waves on the way to the jump hole. I mean, it's the same, but it's different. Overall, I guess it's just a different game. It's really not an issue right now since I don't have any features that benefit from having 0% overdrive yet, but I'll get there eventually. Pressing space also uses the first skill, which it didn't in the original. Autobuy is significantly slower, starting at one level in every weapon every 20 seconds instead of buying whatever is cheapest multiple times a second like the original. Which features you get aren't random anymore, they come in a very specific order now. I kinda like that just opening cargo doesn't give you damage anymore like it used to.īut there's a lot of downsides. It makes progression a lot easier and more straightforward than the original. They're each only one cargo for each level, and that's pretty amazing. Off the top of my head for good stuff, the first two ship features you get are Tsar Cannon Monument and Second Hand Shop. I've been playing the new steam version (I guess we could call it Transport Defender 2 since it's different enough) and there's some significant changes that I really like and really don't like about it. But still, there's a good amount of stuff as it is and I assume if the game does well there's a good chance more will be added to late game, but not sure. Looks like some game features and prestige abilities have been changed from the original, so there might be less complexity in the current build than in the web version (there's a huge list of prestige abilities in this one, but many are clones with different numbers - seems like the old version had more interesting ones and a secondary prestige). So even early on, it's more about fast weapons to kill enemies quickly than it is about waiting for enough damage to progress. So that's nice in that there's stuff to do and you don't hit a quick slowdown like in clicker heroes, but you have to frequently check in on it to upgrade. Rate of progress feels pretty good, a little on the faster side in terms of game progression early game. Autobuy features appear to be unlocked incrementally as you go through the game, which is a slight disappointment since management can be a bit tedious even relatively early, and autobuy doesn't do much worthwhile yet. Does run a little smoother than web version, also seems to heat up my GPU more though. There have been a few decent games to come out recently, but still feels like there's so little worth playing these days.Įdit: Gave it a try. ![]() Not sure if it's terrible programming or comes from the unity engine, but so many simple games take an annoying amount of CPU.) (Also was pretty CPU friendly, which never hurts. Think it deserves credit for that alone, while so many other games fail to fix their obvious flaws. If memory serves, this is one of the few games that implemented an "auto-purchase" into the clicker hero type subgenre.Ī very obvious and much-needed feature that virtually no other games seemed to implement, minimizing the repetitive tedium (or botting) required to play this style of game into the middle and late game. ![]()
